Formats and Thicknesses
Dekton offers a wide variety of format options thanks to its 3200 x 1440 dimensions. In the case of interior cladding, there are no limitations regarding format, although we recommend the following if you need to cut the material, in order to improve its use:

Joints
The placement joints are an essential component for the quality, durability and aesthetics of a surface.
A joint of 2 mm is recommended for interiors, always respecting structural joints, or joints for expansion or movement of the building.
The stability of the supports, the environmental conditions, the requirements for use and the properties of the selected grouts and sealing materials will be of great importance for the design of the joint.

Installation
In order for Dekton to perform well, it is necessary for the material to be installed appropriately, following the steps found in our Large Format Facing Manual.
Maintenance
Thanks to the almost zero porosity of the material, Dekton can be maintained with a damp cloth to remove traces of dust.
It is recommended to carry out a final intensive cleaning of the works to remove any remains of the materials used in the installation, such as adhesives or grouting material.
